Can I use Windows Update?
Using Windows Updates is not recommended, because it will revert tweaks, reinstall bloatware and cause setbacks with respect to privacy and other pre-applied features. In extreme cases, it could even break your OS.
Windows Update is not disabled entirely. Only the automatic update downloading and installation is. In addition, in Settings the Windows Update menu is hidden. It is not disabled completely because half of the OS communicates through this service, and many components like the Store would break.
If you want to update your windows install without large issues, use the ReviOS-Upgrade builds and follow the instructions for upgrading.
Should you really want to access Windows Update despite all these warnings, you can unhide the Update panel with the Revision Tool. For more information about the tool, please read the section about it.
